Good day all; My client has had a Milwaukee professional drill running on his Phoenix Klein Mill hybrid. It has drilled about 34,000 holes in wood in the past 6 weeks. It just stopped! Likely the brushes or something simple but it is an annoyance. Does anyone have experience with some spindle that can drill holes in wood but will live for more than 2 months? Max drill bit is 15/32 but most holes are with 1/8th bit. Drill runs at 1200 rpm. Will be putting a relay control from breakout box to shut off the drill after a part is finished, to reduce run time a bit. But on drilling cribbage boards it runs 1 hr 12 min to drill 745 holes and there cannot be much time saved by shutting off at end of cycle on way to home position. Thanks Jim H |
