Hello, I have VRDM 397/50 LHA stepper motors. Motors are produced by Sig Positec (Berger-Lahr) , and are rated at: 40VDC, 5.8A , 1.7Nm Dimensions are : 85mm x 85mm x 70mm http://www.bergerlahrmotion.com/pdf/...pper_Motor.pdf http://www.hit-karlsruhe.de/Moorhuhn...VRDM39x-DE.pdf Motors are 3-Phase ..  Are they suitable for DIY router, considering that they run on 40V power supply ?? Why most of other steppers used for DIY have very low voltages (2 - 5 V), any advantages ?
