hi, I would like to know if with the hobbycnc rooter I would be able to create 3d shapes. I want to build a RC plane prototype mold so my idea is under 3d sofltware i want to cut my model in 5cm slices that I will cut under the rooter...what do you think of that? |

| Are you talking about this router? http://www.hobbycnc.com/plans/plans.htm It can do 3D shapes, but not 5cm thick. I think the free plans posted here would give you the size you needed.

| I think it will only be good for cutting foam if you increase the Z to 5cm.
