i herd artcam can machine up to 4 axis, Basically 2 questions.. i want learn how to make simple model with art cam to make 4 axis turning.... dont know how to do that...... please help.. other question.. I have more complex model made in auto cad 3d.. want to import them... I have 3d turning of 4 side french leg carving generated in autocad... My friend of a friend has art am.. and every time we import the cad model into 3d model space it becomes part of the work peace and you loose one side of the 4 side model... need some help import this so we can cut this on a 4 axis |

| Artcam is not a true 4th axis program, but you can do Indexing work with it.. I usually do all of my woodwork including indexing with it...

so please explain to me how to design and make a simple turning for lathe ie 4 axis to be used on a cnc with artcam? do you have video or info on a how too.. |
