All: Forgive the Noobyness of my question as I am still stumbling my way through figuring out what I need for my DIY-CNC setup. My goal is to engrave small wood or aluminum plates with logos, military unit patches, coat(s) of arms. I don't want to go through and draw everything freehand in AutoCAD and then export it... My question is thus...is there software out there that will readily let me take a digital picture and turn it into machine code? I solicit your gripes, complaints, advice and knowledge in achieving my goal. Admin...feel free to repost elsewhere if needed. In search of my next cold one, NearBeer |

| Go here: http://www.bobcad.com/# Click on "Watch Demo Videos", and select BobART Pro on the right side of the screen. Here's one example of what it can do: http://public.fotki.com/mcphill/mcpi...aus-engraving/ |
