I have gotten pretty far with my 8020 skate bearing design and it works quite well. The travel being X30/Y20/Z5 inches this is a little large for my desk, I want to use this larger one to make a dedicated PCB router, with travel being about X12/Y12/Z1 inches. I'm going to use 1/2" aluminum for this smaller one and I'm just looking for ideas on styles and types. Thanks for the help. |

| Have you seen this build thread? http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87713 It's a fast little bugger. Also check out these pictures for some ideas. http://img21.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=41439876.jpg here is the thread they came from. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88315 But if you want to step up your game, this one is still a favorite of mine, http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpo...30&postcount=9 For some reason I like a moving table design for a smaller desktop version. That would probably be the direction I would head in. |
