freebie cnc software other than mach3?

looking for a another program, other than mach for my cnc machine,
IS there any freebie software with no limititations for gcode.. Im on a budget
at this time,I need to find freebie verison that will allow me
more than 500 lines of code... I cant break up the cnc machine code any smaller that what i have now for one operation.

I've only ever used emc2, and I think it's great. I've heard people say that it's better than mach3, since linux is better than windows at handling real time operations.

no, but why would you want to :]

just install linux, it's dead easy with the live cd. You could dual boot if necessary.
