Would it be possible to use the insides from a scanner and printer to make a small cnc router. I'm very limited on funds at the moment but do have a few of each lying around. I'm hoping to just cut depron(foam) to make parts for r/c planes. The depron sheets will be 6mm thick and around 8" square. Any ideas or thoughts on this please. Dean |

| I was going to try something like this, my idea was to use the linear encoder and dc motor on the print head transport mechanism as a CNC servo, obviously it would be very limited as far as power goes but the initial tests were promising. I never got around to doing any more, too many projects and all that... Good luck ! Russell. |
