2d software cam pacakges

hello, Im interest in finding 2d cam packages that are easy to use low cost or free, and more user friendly than lazycam. please recommend any....
mainly use for the time being is to cut plywoods mdf and sheet goods
etc.

Cut 2D is the easiest to use. There's also SheetCAM, which is good, and once you learn it, it's pretty easy as well.

Free ones are G Simple, and there's a free version of CAMBAM. There's also ACE, which is a simple .dxf to g-code converter.

CamBam free Beta Release 0.8.2 is a download that doesn't expire. Worth trying.

It has less features than the one you pay for, but it's free.

Yes. It has pocketing. For a dado, you'd either cut a long narrow pocket, or a series of straight cuts.
