Linearmotionbearing2008.com-Any good???

Can anybody give me some feedback as to the quality of the Ballscrews and ballnuts from the Ebay store: Linearmotionbearing2008.com. They are shipping from China so the shipping is high but the prices are killer! The complete kits with screws and rails are hard to beat for the price. Is it Good, OK or junk??

Has anyone bought from them?

Geoff,
Hey that was great! Thanks for the reply on the ballscrews. I went through all the posts and learned quite a bit. Thanks for the help.

Steve,
Chai, the guy in charge of lineormotionbearings2008 is a good person to deal with. If what you want isn't listed, just ask. If it exists, chances are he can get it at a good price.
Be sure to ask about machining of any ballscrews you order. It only costs a few $$ extra and will be done to your specifications.

Geoff,
I will do that! Since you are being so helpful let me bang a couple more questions off you.
Being my first CNC build I don't want to bite off more than I can chew but also want a very robust machine for routing wood for furinture making. What I do not want is a machine which has slow IPM and takes forever to route a project. By reviewing this forum I feel 300 to 400 IMP and 1000IPM Rapids are fast but I feel this is where I need to be. I'm basiclly copying a K2CNC design for 2' x 4' in all aluminum frame and gantry. Running a Porter cable 3.25hp router. Gantry weight should be approx 30-35#.
I'm thinking Keling servo cnc kit with supplied drivers and power supplies. Mach 3 cam. HiWin 20mm rails for X and Y and 3/4" thompson rods for Z. In woodworking I would like .003 resolution but may do some milling in aluminum and .001 would be nice. So my question is which Keling servokit, which linear ballscrews from china are going to be a sweet setup?? Again do I go with pulleys or straight coupling?? What are your ideas now that I have supplied more info.
Thanks Steve

Chai

Hi
I also order some things from Chai. There was no problems. Whet professional turner work with Chai support rails and ball screws and he said that metal quality is very good. There was one thing when I want made support rails little shorter with metal belt saw I break saw blade.

Chai at Linearmotion is a very good to deal with and products are medium grade quality and well worth the money.

BUT no way will you get 1000ipm rapids from a medium quality ballscrew and expect it to last any length of time, for those sort of speeds you need to be looking at R&P. . . Then i,m not sure you'll get the accuracy your looking for.?
