Losing Steps?

More Problems??

I think im losing steps? its the only thing i can think of its doing.
I ran through the step calcultor for motor tunning and it will be right on durring the calculator.

But running a program it seems to lose where it's at. Only seems to do it when i try running something that is moving my X (dual drive axis) back and forth in small increments or something that is moving Z up and down profiling. then Z keeps getting lower and lower the longer it runs?

Could this be a backlash problem? or a drive problem.

G540 4 axis package (One G540 + Four
KL23H284-35-4B (1/4” Dual shaft with a flat) 387 oz-in + one KL-350-
48 48V/7.3A 115V /230V power supply: $544.95

here is what im running ^^. i have been reading that the psu is not big enough for 4 motors. Will that lose steps?

It could but the likelyhood would be that you would see the effect in all axis, not just one. Check you coupler for slipping.

I'm with pminmo on this one. It sounds like you need to cinch down the coupler screws really tight, especially if they are Delrin or other type of plastic. Plastic will cold flow under a lot of pressure from the screws. It may take a while, but it will eventually happen.
