| I have no experience with those specific motors. What size machine are you building and what are you going to do with it? Those look like NEMA 23 sized motors with 140 oz-in of holding torque. Certainly adequate for many smaller machines, but it really depends on the application. Steve |

| The upside is they are 8 wire motors. The downside is they are very inductive so rapid performace will be a potential issue.

| You should start with the leadscrew and work backwards to the motor and driver. The 1A 10Mh steppers you are looking at will be really slow with a 30V driver, If you hit them with 80V they will move OK but you did not say what kind of driver you plan on using. If you use a fast screw they might not have enough power. For the money you should be able to do better. A Fast leadscrew might be a good idea. Perhaps around a 4TPI to 2 TPI then use a 200oz to 300oz stepper with a cheep 2.5A 35V driver. |
