Hi All,I am new to this so please go easy on me,I would like to build a CNC router and am dead keen at the moment,I have downloaded Mach3 for a start but find I cannot reset because of E.Stop issues,I have nothing else plugged in to the PC,it's an old Sony running XP Prof. Any ideas please Don |

| Thanks for your reply,you are right I have a long way to go and am getting the bits and pieces together,i think it is a brilliant project and right up my street.I was a toolmaker by trade and since retiring have done a lot of woodwork. Don |

No, you don't. Under ports and pins, just toggle the active low setting on the E Stop pin. (Input pins page)

I really thing using the button already on the main screen, there for just that purpose, is the easier way to go - even though your way would work as well. |

| That's not what that button is there for, and the active low setting is the reason it won't come out of E-Stop. Using the Offline button may prevent other things from working. Not sure though.

| OK, the manual says "Offline" is for machine setup and testing. It says that it disables all outputs. But whenever the E-Stop question comes up on the mach3 yahoo group, Art always says to change the active low setting.
