1) The gantry has not gusseting supports. These will prevent the gantry from rocking during heavy cuts. Also the gantry is very narrow; having a wider stance along the rails will help prevent racking. 2) The rails are unsupported. They will flex slightly as the gantry rides over them causing possible chatter on heavier cuts. 3) There is not work surface. Having a work surface will allow you to level the table to itself, allowing more accurate cuts. But overall, a GREAT first cnc. Would love to see a video of it in action if you have one. All of the points above are easily addressable in the future if you are not happy with the performance of your machine.

thank you. it is not necessary to do all that because it is very solid as it is. Gantry is narrow, but it is really solid, because it is thick inox block (understand now? )Rails can't be suported because bearings "surrounded" the rail. I will make some photos when i dissasemble it for painting so i'll upload them here. i haven't tried it yet because i need monitor for pc that will be only for cnc (because on my netbook i dont have lpt) and power supply for cnc electronics.

You're running it indoors? You either are single or have one understanding significant other. I would recommend getting quite a good dust control. First time I did a small cut in MDF in my garage I was shocked at the cloud of dust the thing produced and how it got everywhere. With a dust shoe, and Oneida cyclone, and shop vac it is not under control and the machine makes very little dust. But between the shop vac and router spinning, it is pretty loud.
