I've tried several wet lubes, but none are satisfactory. This is a woodworking cnc and they constantly attract dust. I've tried some dry teflon spray, and it does a pretty decent job for lube, but it doesn't seem to inhibit corrosion much at all. I left the machine alone for 5 days and came back home to alot of rust. The machine is stored in my garage. I'm using acetal nuts. Next step will be to slather on the naval jelly to get rid of the rust. After that, I'm at a loss as to what to use to keep the rust from returning. ![]() Please help. |

| Thanks carveone. I think this is probably the third time or so you've helped me out on a problem... No one in town carried boeshield products, so I went ahead and ordered online from boeshield. I'll be sure to post pics/review when they get here. |

| Always glad to help any way I can. I hope it does the job for you. I haven't actually used it, but I know it is sold by places like http://www.woodcraft.com and http://www.woodworkingshop.com and others. I use Eagle One pure carnuba wax on my woodworking equipment. Apply three coats and buff each coat well. Any moisture that collects on the surface as "sweat" just dries up with no after rust. It's dry and not sticky. Dust blows off easily. CarveOne
