setting up smooth stepper , on the weekend with mach3
What do , I need to do?, load mach driver and install the driver for smooth stepper from mach website?

any tips, or things to look out for during the setup?
using g203v drive and cnc4c pc break out brd

It's almost a drop in (compared to trying to get a G100 to work with Mach)

You will be surprised.

Load USB driver, Drop Mach addin in the mach directory and double click.

Most of your config will just transfer over if you used the same pinouts on your config with the parallel port on the SS..

I switch between parallel and the SS with 2 printer switches...

There are a few things I would like to see finished with the SS so I have not used it much.
Those are:
The ability to FRO above 100% max
and
I'd like my dial MPG's to work smoother (there is a little lag before movement and they don't seem tied to acceleration like when tied to mach/parallel input so they can be jerkey if you don't rotate them smoothly.

Great product for the money though. Gives you lots of extra IO above what you would have with the parallel port.
