Hi guys, my name is Claudio.

I am considering building a CNC for hobby and I do have some questions.

Cant decide between JOE`S and JGRO`S designs. Both are very well documented, can anyone tell if one is better than the other for a first time builder?

A also need to know if I can cut all (or at least a good part) MDF parts with a jigsaw, and if its not asking too much with some precision.

I need to decide witch design to use and how to cut the parts, than I can move the project forward.

P.S.: A live in Brazil, cant buy anything from the states.

Hi Claudio,
Joes design is probably the more difficult to cut. It requires a fair amount of precision. Not sure I would try to cut either with only a jigsaw.
There is a Joes build thread where the design was modified somewhat to make it easier to cut with a table saw.
