Lost in stepper motor world

I'm currently looking for a 3 Axis Stepper motor kit. I have looked at HobbyCnc's kits and discovered that soldering is required. Is this true for Keling's and Probotix kits as well? The only soldering experince I have is in plumbing and I fear that I will screw up the HobbyCnc kit. So I guess my other question would be, is soldering circuit boards difficult for a newbie?

Also I plan on putting limit swithces, an e stop, and hopefully a MPG down the road. Will the HobbyCnc kit allow me to connect these with ease?

BTW I'm in the process of building http://www.cncrouterparts.com/ 8020 design.

Oh, almost forgot, what is a good limit switch supplier?

Thank you for taking the time to read this post

I don't think it is so difficult that a newbie could not do it. The HobbyCNC kit comes with good instructions. You will need a good small pencil tip type soldering iron and small diameter electrical solder. You can get both from Radio Shack, or Parts Express. PE also has solder stations. Better equipment, but higher cost.
If you use Mach, you can add a ShuttlePro as a MPG/pendant.

You might try this driver. I'm pretty sure it's pre-assembled, though it's about twice the price of the HobbyCNC kit. (Note: I have no exerience with the easy-cnc driver.)
