But since you left out all of the rest of the information needed, I can't go much further.![]() That being said, it would first of all depend on how you are generating a signal that tells what the amps being drawn are. If it is an analog signal, you could add a board that allows ananlog input and maybe create a new screen to display the information on. I will be looking at doing this on my dspmc/ip controlled machines. Mike

| looking at implement this the most cost effective way.... vai lem, shunt or analog signal etc... doors wide open for now need ideas

| Hi eloid, What make of drive do you have? many industrial drives have a current monitor analog output. If using a gecko drive or similar, you may have to use a shunt or something to get a current value. On my dspmc driven machine, I have 8 analog inputs built in, so its pretty straight forward to make this work.
