Need Help!- help needed with router

hello all,

i m new here. i m into making a cnc router.
i have built one 10x4 with ball screws on all axes.
but now i wanna build another with rack n pinion to reduce costing.
since i have no idea of selection process, i want u all good ppl to help me out.

i used siemens 802C controller, ball screws, LM guideways n porter cable hand router as spindle...

i have finally finished designing my second router. its almost similar to the sketch i have posted before. Gentry is little different though.... it has table size of 1350mm X 3000 mm
structure made up of square n rectangle pipes. Weighing approx. 500 kgs.
