Hi to all,

I'm trying to built the jgro router cnc but I'm having difficulties to find the gas pipe for linear movments.

My question therefore can I use a square metal hollow section? Have anyone tried it and what are the results?

i'm not sure what your planning to use for bearings, but ive done it with v bearings and it works great , now my son and i are building one for him and we are using square tube on it as well

I'll be using 608 bearings

So far, square is looking great for me. Even on aluminum squares it feels solid. But I'd go for steel square tube if you are considering it. I would be curious to know, thickness for thickness, which has less bend to it.
