I purchased plans for the person last year, and I'm finally getting to building the CNC. I ended up using some ideas from his gantry system, and some of my own ideas. So a hybrid, but since then He has added some nice video's on wiring up your break out board and motors. I think it's a very nice illustration. I'm a very visual person so it really helped me out. I normally struggle a bit with written instructions. Anyways, I thought you newbies might light it also. http://buildyourcnc.com/wiring.aspx P.S. Can anyone tell what brand the components are? He seems to only sell the unit as a kit, and if you already have the motors there is no option to get the other parts seperate. Last edited by cpcapace; 01-29-2009 at 04:48 PM. |
