I need your guys input here. I want to build a sound absorbing, dust enclosure around my CNC router. It's a small table top unit 24"x24". Needs to be... -Very sound absorbing material -Fully enclosed (for dust) -Must have access to at least one side (obviously) -Portable At this point I'm thinking transparent acrylic sheets, but I don't know what thickness they would need to be, in order to be strong enough. Also don't know if that material hold screws well. Any ideas, material suggestions, photos would be very much appreciated. Also, any ideas/pics for a sturdy portable stand for the machine would help. Thanks for the inspiration, Nick |
