Troubleshooting my electronics - can't get motors to move

I'm working on my first CNC router.

I've got my power supply, breakout board, drivers and motor all connected, but when I open up ... and attempt to move the motors, I get no response. The lights are on the breakout board and all three drivers as well as both power supplies, and the motor shafts lock; so that tells me that power is getting everywhere that it needs to get, but somehow the data isn't getting through.

The details of my set up:

Three Keiling steppers: KL23H2100-30-4B, four wires each.
Three Drivers: KL-4030
One C10 Parrellel Port Interface Card,
KL-320-36 Power Supply
KL-10-5 5V supply

So, my two part-question is: anything obvious that I might have missed and should check? I'm pretty new to doing any sort of electrical circuits, so missing something obvious is a real possibility.

And, how can I go about troubleshooting to figure out why the commands aren't getting through to the motors?

How do you have the C10 configured? Is the Common jumper set to 5V or GND? Is it the CNC4PC C10 or Keling's version?

Do you have all of the grounds connected in a star configuration? What this means is that there is a common point and you run a separate wire from each driver and the BOB to that point (this is why I asked about the jumper on the C10).

Jeff helped me get that same setup running in mach3. A great help, and my motors work great, though still not attached to the machine!
