Material thickness chart? I am trying to design my first router and need accurate thickness information. Is there a chart that lists the actual thickness of various materials that are commonly used in Home build CNC machines? MDF: ¼”= ½”= ¾”= Plywood: 1/8”= ¼”= 1/2”= ¾”= Plastics: … I guess you get the point, has this info been assembled someplace already? Thanks. RobWms

| MDF is usually what it's supposed to be, maybe just a hair thicker (.005±) , but not enough to worry about. Plywood, on the other hand, can be all over the place. Some is actually what it's supposed to be. Some is 1/32 smaller. And some is metric, so 3/4" may be 18mm. you really need to know exactly what you'll be using with plywood.
