Been awhile since I posted anything so here's a good one. I get a ton of bits free from my dentist. He uses them once per patient and throws them out so I asked him to start saving them for me. In the last 6 months I've received over 300 bits of various types, most of them carbide. I bought a 1/16" collet for my trim router and they work beautiful in wood and aluminum. So to pay him back I cut him an aluminum tooth profile. If your dentist charges you for them he's a crook. The amazing part is he only pays about $1 apiece for them at the get go. I've paid up to $7.50 for a similar engraving bit. Merry Christmas to all |
