I need help sizing two servo motors for my router table. The table will be mounted to an A-frame at 10 - 15 deg. Table Dimension - 246" x 86" In the short direction (z-axis) i will be using a Nook linear actuator (EGK80) to move a 60lb cnc router/spindle at a rate of 200ipm. In the long direction, i'm using thk linear rails with gear racks to move the grantry. Estimated weight of the gantry with motors/rails/router is about 350 lbs. I want to move this at 200ipm. i'm pretty new to all this cnc stuff. i've been searching this forum and reading but everything is still greek to me. Any help is appreciated. thanks |
