Rockcliff to 5-Axis

Hi all,

I've been sitting on a set of Rockcliff 3-Axis router plans for a while with the intention of beginning my build soon. I've recently started looking at what 5-Axis machines can do, and wondering what you would reccomend as a comparable 5-Axis DIY machine option. Thanks in advance.

In the 5 years this site has been around, I haven't seen anyone build a 5 axis machine. A lot talk about it, but I've yet to see one. Here's the only one I've seen.

Sounds like I may be chasing my own tail, then. Maybe I'll stick with what I have until there's a better option.

Hi,

I really don't why many more 5-axis machines havn't been built or converted by the members on this forum.
Even if you don't do much 5-axis machining, it's useful to have have the capability. You can always just mount the rotary axes when required.
