| Have been quietly collecting parts for my build. I've got my G251'2 (Christmas gift from my fiancee), PMDX 122 BOB, Keling 387 oz-in steppers, and Antek 35V600VA transformer. I'm going to be builidng my own power supply. I hope to see the motors spinning within the next 2 weeks. I'm holding off on the mechanicals for now. I'm waiting to see Ahren's R&P systtem before I decide. I really am concerned about whipping on a 72" x-axis if I use an ACME lead screw. Will keep you guys posted! debetto |
