| If you've never compiled something before you might consider going with something that's pre-compiled for you. If you want to compile it and are having trouble, the best person to talk to is the guy who wrote it. You'll need to get a compiler first since windows doesn't come with a compiler built in like Linux does. There are other freeware preview tools available as a binary, pre-compiled, distribution. CNCSimulator comes to mind. As the site you linked to says, Eagle CAD has a free version with some limits on board size, and there's a user script, also free, that will make the gcode you need to isolate the traces. ...Then you'll need another bit of software, Controller, to interpret the g-code and generate the pulses and direction signals on your parallel port....Sorry if I'm repeating information you already know. I run my router with EMC which is Linux based so I can't really give any good recommendations on Win based controllers. User script, isolation routing gcode tool: http://www.brusselsprout.org/PCB-Routing/ Eagle CAD: http://cadsoft.de/ Good Luck! |
