Well, My CNC plans have changed. I started building my machine for a hobby, but now i need somethign slightly bigger that can cut a little bit faster. My machine is based off the Solsylva 24" x 48" rack and pinion machine. I will also include the build manual i bought. here is the facts. Built from laminated baltic birch ( think 1 1/2" thick glue lam). table it slef probally weights 150 lbs, so this is a heavy duty base. uses 1 5/16" chrome rod for slides, wall thickness is over 1/2" thick. What it comes with table gantry racks pinions pullys, belts, bearings 36" x 1/2" acme lead screw w/ nut drill rod for axle lots of other parts 2 18" linear slides w/ 4 carts i am switching over 2 80/20 machine. If interested, respond of pm me here are some pics (no electronics are included) im just trying to free up room for my new machine and get back a little of what i have n these parts. Iwill also part out if anyone is interested ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Fixittt Where are you located? I am between Claremore and Owasso. I am not a CNC'er yet but have everything to build one. Would be nice to talk to someone local that is interested in CNC. My wife is tired of hearing me talk about it. Brian |
