Problems with my CNC router

I had problems with my Solsylva 17X20 Overhead Leadscrew CNC Router today. After I started cutting some wagon wheels, my shop teachers told me that they heard noises from the DeWalt trim router. The 1/8-inch router bit broke and one of the wagon wheels was ruined. After changing the bit, I found out that something was wrong with the trim router. The motor shaft won't turn because the spindle lock pin was broken. One of my shop teachers helped me take the trim router and remove the broken spindle lock pin and spring. He turned a phillips screwdriver into a spindle lock pin using the grinding wheel. When I need to change router bits, I have to put the new spindle lock pin into the hole where the broken spindle lock pin was removed, change the bits, and remove the spindle lock pin from the hole, much like a drill chuck key. After fixing the trim router, one of the wagon wheels was ruined because I didn't put tabs on the profile cuts for spokes. I had to edit the wagon wheels in the Cut2D program. I told my shop teacher and my mother that I would like a new ShopBot or similar CNC router very much.
