| Hi All.. Ok...I've been procrastinating about this for too long, and have decided to jump in with hands and feet tied, bag over head...so if any kind soul wishes to rescue me...feel free.. ![]() Just way too much to injest, but for me, making the table at least shouldn't be rocket science with all the info available. The intent is to put together a home hobby, moving gantry table, about 25" x 36", to mill wood, plastics,...and just maybe light allum, small items. So...first of many questions... What is the most important axis to consider a motor(s) for...? iow, is there an axis that generally requires a little more 'oomph' than the others. There seems to be a lot of '3' motor deals out there. Thanx for any response Cheers |

| Most use two motors to move the gantry, but they typically use the same size motors for al the axis.
