| Hey guys, I've been hanging around for a while now and have decided that I want to build a small CNC. My main confusion is regarding the stepper motors and circuits, the two main places to buy them from (Since I'm in Australia this makes things very difficult) are xylotex and hobby cnc, but I heard bad things about the xylotex board? (I was leaning towards them since the price is basically the same but xylotex comes with a power supply) Also, is it worth starting with a JGRO machine or should I build a joe2006 straight away? Finally, are there any Australians (Brisbane) who can give me tips on where to buy parts from. Thanks for any help, I am really really looking forward to getting one of these beasts up and running |
