Problem- Circle becomes a football shape?

I have a cnc that the travel in x is 14" however when I jog to x in the + move and reaches about 11" the jog stops as though it has reached the end of travel as though it has hit 14" and then I hit the the jog again this process repeats about 5 more times. this also happens when I am running a job like a circle looks more like a football.

can some one tell me what is going on here?

Sounds like it's binding near the end of the travel.

Find out what's binding it and see if you can align it better. Could be the screw binding, or the guides. Hard to say. First try to figure out if it IS binding.

disconnect the screw from the table and slide to to the extreme. it should slide without much effort. then slide to the other direction, should be the same friction or lack thereof in all directions. if you fund alot of friction, realignment is the next step.
