Looking for information/specifications on Kollmorgen stepper motor labeled with part number PJT-55 A1W. I have searched endlessly with no success. I did find a link to Pacific Scientific NEMA 23 standard hybrid motors that seems to display the motors I have but I would like to make sure. Some specs written on motors are 2A, 3.4V/phase, 1.8deg. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Jack, Thank you for your help. You are correct, those are my motors. Literally, those are my motors. I purchased them off of ebay a couple of weeks ago and have chosen a driver (HobbyCNC) and am preparing to move forward. While the information from the ebay seller was helpful, I was hoping to get a full datasheet on the product to be sure that I choose a power supply correctly. I currently have a Siemens SITOP power supply that is rated at 24VDC and 10A that I am hoping will work, but being a newbie, I am cautious at every step. If there is anything in my post that is alarming or you can offer any advice, it will be greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Bill |

| Bill, I didn't think about them being the ones you had gotten.......... I'm not familiar with the hobbycnc products. You might ask for advice on the HobbyCNC forum: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/hobbycnc_products/ Most boards will work with at lease 24V IIRC. I used Gekcos in my system and they are rated 0-80v up to 7a. On Geckos you could use a power supply between 13v and 68v for those motors with 44vdc being optimal. But, I would check with others who have Hobby set-up for their advice. Wish i could help more, Jack
