| I have very bad dreams about hundreds of something like that as big as 12 feet high and carrying a vulcan cannon (instead a little carbide router bit) chasing after me. But hey, I'm a sci-fi fan. ![]() Very cool machine CarveOne

| There's a bunch more neat stuff and videos to look at on his website. I have seen German made versions of the R/C model servos that were about the size of a masonry brick. They should be good enough power for a four foot hexapod built mostly of carbon fiber sheet material. I would love to have one parked in the driveway. Maybe Steven Spielberg would be willing to bankroll such a project for a movie. CarveOne

| Really nice: If he added the ability to apply some suction to the feet, he'd get even better cuts. While I'm sleeping, someone out there is coming up with the next generation of tools. Imagine a large robotic hexapod excavator..... cheers
