I have very bad dreams about hundreds of something like that as big as 12 feet high and carrying a vulcan cannon (instead a little carbide router bit) chasing after me. But hey, I'm a sci-fi fan.

I have seen German made versions of the R/C model servos that were about the size of a masonry brick. They should be good enough power for a four foot hexapod built mostly of carbon fiber sheet material. I would love to have one parked in the driveway. Maybe Steven Spielberg would be willing to bankroll such a project for a movie.
