When i use one power supply (24v @ 8a switching power supply) The motors dont make any noise when they are moving or sitting still. But, when I use a different power supply (32v @ 0-10a probably switching too, dont know) the motors humm and whine when sitting or moving. Is this normal or not? |

![]() I've had an old mill with Bandit cnc that used to make a rather irritating high-pitched whine from some relatively low khz switching supplies. So you may have to compare the switching frequencies of the two supplies.
