Buy me a Beer?

nice face ,thus the reason i will never send one of those family picture christmas cards,
turns out the nut really doesnt fall far from the tree , i wasn t sure what to do with the machine , room in the workshop is limited but i just couldn t take the hammer to it ,Ryan has taken a fair interst in it so its coming back to life , the footprint is 48x24 , and its got my old fet3 board which runs slow enough not to hurt him

Welcome aboard Ryan. You're never to young to get started! Great Pokemon picture! I think it's great that you can work closely with you Dad! Enjoy the time together! Have fun with your machine and remember to be safe!

ROCK ON Kydd, all i can say is keep at it, the sky's the limit (i once heard he is a fool who doesn't become better than his teacher, no insult intended "dad", lol), just remember the safety factor and keep in mind the only thing that limits you is your will, good going.

G day Ryan,
Im gathering information on building a similar sized machine to the one your dad is building. Can you tell me what size steppers and router you are planning to use and do you plan to cut much aluminium?
Michael.

im using vexta 166 oz moters and micro stepping drivers that my dad sells im going to use one of my dads old rouders that takes quarter inch or half inch bits i wont wont be cutting aluminum because at my age its to dangerous but my machine is capapable of cutting aluminum

me and my dad made the bearings with the bearings of roller blades we made the wheels on me and my dads laithe and pushed in two bearings in each wheel and they work realy well i have them sliding on square tubing
