I ordered a 3x5 router and got part of it, this has been going on for over 1 1/2 years, now I need to finish it on my own. I have been talking with Stepper3LLC about ordering what I need, has anyone here dealt with them? I don't want to get taken again, Thanks |

| Are you sure you need 1200 oz steppers? The larger the stepper, the lower there top speed. With big steppers, you'll want screws with a higher lead.

I don't know anything about the cnc world, I'm going along with what people are telling me, I need 5/8 lead screws because of the length needed so I was told that a stronger motor would handle that better. I supposed to be around 70 ipm with the setup that is recommended with plenty of power, I really don't know what I'll be using this machine for, just want to see if I can make money with it. It's turning into a $10,000 project, alot just to see if I can make money |

| 70 ipm is pretty slow for a decent size router. If you're spending that much money, you should be looking for 200-300 ipm.
