| Some tim ago i saw a nice design: ![]() What do you think - it's worth time and money to build this? - working dimensions: ~ 30cm/50cm/7(10)cm - acme threads 4mm pitch; nut-spring-nut anti-backlash - microstep driver (A3977/A3979) - 20mm/16mm/12mm rails ************************************** What I want to do with the machine: - mill-drill-cut PCB's, - acrilic engrave and cut, - small aluminium parts ************************************** For the moment I use this http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42554, but i'm unhappy with: - speed - bending of the threads - noise |
