I am building my first cnc router I am buying the plans from the website 'buildyourcnc.com' do you think its a good idea for someone who does not know much about CNC to build a cnc router or should I buy one get to understand what cnc ia all about then make one, and second I would like my cnc router to be very accurate what part of the cnc router would I need to upgrade. |

| All very tough questions. If you want to build your own then you need to consider what kind of tools you have or have access to. As for accuracy what kind of things are you cutting and what kind of accuracy are you looking for? Personally I'd buy one if you can afford one. I have a full machine shop and built my own and I know what I'm doing. But when it comes to build accuracy and rigidity it's hard to beat a machine from a well know company such as Techno Isel. They have done and continue to do thousands of hours of R and D...and so on. My machine works fine but there are always alterations to make. |

| when it comes to the cnc router I have a budget of around $2000 but I save a lot if make it myself, and the machine I would be be making would be bigger then the one I would be buying. I am also very confident in making and can't wait, I just want to know if there's anything I have to look out for? |
