Hello. I just a got a deal on a 59.5 inch ballscrew at 1.5 in in dia. One side is machined which I'll use for my drive end, but the other is filed down on both sides of the screw only about an inch in. I don't have access to any equiptment to machine nor do I know anybody who does this kind of work. My question is could I just find a bearing support that size for my simple support end, and could I just have the threads of the ballscrew sit in the bearing? Thanks. |
