I have finally made enough progress to get some comments. I have tested with a sharpie drawing on paper and it is very accurate. I would like to see some examples of mounting limit and home switches.
Sorry for the messy garage, I have limited space to work with.

Can you tell us what was the price for the aluminum for your machine?

I haven't added everything up yet. I got the 80/20 extrusions on Ebay. Most of the other parts were made from left over material from jobs at work. I was also able to cut the parts on the waterjet machine at work. This made alignment of the gantry bolt holes a non-issue. They were perfect.

The people on this site gave me the bug to build a machine. All this knowledge has kept me gong to the point where I have almost finished the build. I'm a little surprised nobody has any advice.
