Want to make some gears?

If anyone is interested, I am posting a link to a gear calculating g-code generator. It is NOT a dak engineering product (so please do not ask Dave for support) but it does work with turboCNC with no editing. Requires Excel, though at some point I hope to have a stand alone version.

Feel free to send me e-mail if there are any questions.

Thanks

Steve

ps - a key making aquaintance was fond of saying "Test Before You Trust" - a good policy to be sure - I would recommend testing any g-code before running on your machine.

pps - Thanks balsaman - Thanks Woodnack

Hi guys- Thanks for the welcome!

I have taken a break from gears (a very short break I hope) to try to make a Mother's Day gift. LOL. I really like mechanical stuff, but as soon as I try to make something more Mom-like, it feels like a disaster. Oh well.

Next week, back to making fun stuff. And I feel the need- the need for speed. I think I can bump up the speed of SupaBrute. Seems the consensus is that 1/4" mdf can be cut in one pass at around 15ipm. That is faster than I am going now. I gotta pick up the pace!

To a good and productive weekend!

Regards,

Steve
