Hello all, Second post, been lurking and reading. My question, Could I make my own V bearings to fit onto inverted angle iron? I was thinking of two skate bearings ( where do you get these in Leeds, W Yorks ?) in a machined housing with the V roughed out and finished with a form tool. I'd make a batch of these to hold sizes, an adjuster on a cam is something I'm struggling to visualise any ideas ? TIA Lee. |

| When I built my machine I made my own v bearings for my Z axis(I have a foundry). Having filled that square, I will now happily buy them. Its not hard to make one. getting four that are just alike is a pita. Dave
