Currently building a CNC Router, 40" x 30" working area. Ordered a package from KelingInc , Acme 1/2 10 2 start lead screw from McMaster and Dumpster backlash nuts. Using an old computer case to hold electronics. Also going to run with Mach3. This is my first time at building one but I am sure am enjoying it. In the photo's you might notice that I am using 4 wire trailer disconnect to go to the stepper motors. I wanted some way to quick disconnect from the electronics. Has anyone used this method before or is there anything I should be concerned about? Any comments, good or bad are welcome..............Thanks, Tom http://www.bennion.net/router/index.html |
