Does anyone know if TSLOTS fasteners like T nuts and double end fasteners will work with 80/20 extrusion? The space inside the TSLOTS extrusions seems to be a little bigger than 80/20. Has anyone used the TSLOTS fasteners with 80/20?

| Can't speciffically answer that question, Mark - but I have used garden variety carriage bolts. I've slipped the head into the slot and then fastened things to the 80/20 that way. Use the same approach with my home brewed "tslot-table." Jim

| dmgdesigns: I'm pretty sure they fit each other. I bought some 80/20 surplus and then bought mounting hardware of all types from T-slots Inc. It works just fine. Just make sure it is the right "series". Both companies have 10-series and 15-series. |

| Thanks samualt The fastners did not have specs in the catalog. Thanks High Seas I had not thought of that. Sounds like a good option for bolting the aluminum table top to the 80/20

| "...did not have specs in the catalog." If you already have the extrusion then compare that to their extrusion section and you'll know what series you have. From there can pick what you need from the fastner section of the catalog. As a rule of thumb, if your extrusion is 1.5"x3" then it's 15-series. If it's smaller then it's 10-series. T-slots Inc is cheaper than 80/20 so that is why I buy mounting hardware from them. |
