| I would look at the different logs on this site and determine which best suits your needs. I guess mdf is out for ice. happy reading Andy

| Well some use a MDF table and MOST use a UHMW table.. I want to go with the UHMW table... So where do I get the parts? I want to go with Servo motors. Is there any blueprints on these things? |

| A good approach for "bolt together" machines is aluminum extrusion -- look for various 8020 builds on this site. I sell a set of parts for use in building machines from extrusion. Alternatively, you could go for a kit from Joe -- see the various machines in the Joes2006 forum. Hope that's helpful. Ahren www.cncrouterparts.com |

| If you come back with specific questions after doing some initial reading on your own, you will probably get more helpful answers. |

The problem/question I can't figure out is how to get the linear ways going. How to set them up and what not. What are the types of ways you can get? |
