Hello, I'm wondering if there is a / how to make a Drill head adapter for this. Find a drill head shove it on a bar and shove it into the router? The reason I'm asking is because all my drill bits are different sizes ![]() Thanks, DL |

| ramasule, How about making a detachable mount for your CNC table. You can then make an additional mount/holder for an electric hand held drill and swap them as necessary for your routing and drilling operations. Just a thought,

| Im already in the process of doing something like that. The problem is I am building a offset of limit switches to detect drill bit home. This is so the drill bit is always referenced as machine to eliminate the mounting offsets. Was just looking for a quick thing to slap into the router. I think ill go get a drill head chuck or a couple differnt sizes. Get the right steel shafts and turn the other end to fit in the router. That should work. |

| How about taking an old hand drill, or one from a yard sale or flea market, and strip the chuck and drive shaft from it. Of course, you'll have to cut the shaft down to a manageable length for your router. The shaft diameter may also need to be turned down to fit a standard size router collet. I had taken apart an old Sears Craftsman drill circa the '60's or '70's and if I remember correctly it used an imperial sized 1/2" shaft (and bearings!) that should fit in a 1/2" router collet nicely. That should enable you to quickly burn up a bunch of drill bits.
